The Humanities Department offers a program of study in Italian language, diction, and culture. Courses at Eastman include:
- Elementary Italian (Italian 101-102/101G-102G). A two-semester sequence offered yearly. Students may take Italian courses to fulfill a language requirement or as a Humanities elective. Italian language courses are open to all students. However, non-Voice majors may require permission to join the elementary courses. For more information, please reach out to the instructor.
- Italian Lyric Diction (one semester, offered yearly).
- Electives on Italian history, culture and literature (taught in English). Recent courses include:
